• The SMH2117 comes with a grounded, 3-prong plug factory installed, and should be plugged into a dedicated 120V/60 Hz/20 amp outlet. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung

• It plugs in. *Note you should have a dedicated 20 Amp circuit for an over the range microwave.
