Hi Cathie. For the best cleaning results, use a high-efficiency detergent such as Tide HE, Wisk HE, Cheer HE or Gain HE. High-efficiency detergents contain suds suppressors that reduce or eliminate suds. And yes, you can use Tide pods but these have to be thrown directly into the tub. ^Gaby
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally prefer liquid detergent. I have tried using powder (borax) but it doesn't dissolve and is still on the clothes after washing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Powdered detergents are best for front load washers. There are many to choose from. I'm using Charlie's Soap powder now with good results. People tend to use to much liquid detergent and fabric softner. This tends to create scrud inside the machine where you can not see it and over time it becomes hard to remove. There is much less chance of this happening if you use powdered detergents.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.we use tide pods, but today was first time one did not fully dissolve. Will have to keep an eye on this. Machine is great for its size
