    • Answer The closest to the wall I could get the unit is 3" (see photo) because of the hoses in the back. With purpose-built 90 degree hoses you might get to 2". With a three inch allowance at the back, the total counter depth would be 26" (see second photo).

  • Question- How many outlets does the washer dryer combo need; one or two? - We have a 4-prong outlet. Will it work with this model?

    • Answer The washer already comes with its standard 3 prong 120v plug. The dryer requires installing a 3 prong or 4 prong 220v power plug (bought separately). Hope this answers your question.

    • Answer Hi, yes, the power cord does come with this washer. A 3-Prong, well grounded 120 volt 60 Hz approved electrical outlet, protected by a 15-amp fuse or comparable circuit breaker is a requirement for all Samsung Washing Machines. ^Rosi

    • Answer Definitely! Also very quiet, and cleans the clothes well. It spins the water out of clothes to lessen drying time as well. Only problems I wish my space could accommodate a larger model. You will not regret this purchase.

  • QuestionWhat is the best detergent to use with this machine? I know it has to be HE. Powdered? Liquid? Can you use Tide Pods?

    • Answer Hi Cathie. For the best cleaning results, use a high-efficiency detergent such as Tide HE, Wisk HE, Cheer HE or Gain HE. High-efficiency detergents contain suds suppressors that reduce or eliminate suds. And yes, you can use Tide pods but these have to be thrown directly into the tub. ^Gaby

  • QuestionDO YOU REMOVE THE OLD WASHER?

    • Answer Be careful and watch out for the delivery team. They Told my wife the machine unit wouldn’t fit through the door and they could not deliver. Total BS what door is smaller that 24in wide. It was obvious they were looking for cash help. I arrive late and and remove my door from the hinges. Delivery guys also made me remove my own exhaust vent. And also lied about the new exhaust vent not being stretchable so they wouldn’t move the machines 5 inches. We got the feeling they were a little upset and unhelpful because we did not pay them to remove my door from the hinges. The delivery guys will also remove the old appliances just tell the person who writes up the order.

  • QuestionCan a queen sized comforter fit in this washer?

    • Answer It will, but it is pretty tight. The washer seem larger than the normal stackable washer, but certainly not full-sized. I washed mine, but it wasn't very dirty. I think I will probably take it to the laundromat every other wash or so.

    • Answer The answer is no, the washer is 125vac and the dryer is 240 Vac. Two different circuits and ampere requirements. Your best option is to have a qualified electrician come out and evaluate your home before purchasing.
