Q: QuestionInstall instructions? This is for new construction , so plugs, drain, vent can go where needed. How does the stacking kit install? Must the dryer be on top or the washer? Also, I understood that the dryer is ventless but another FAQ says it isn't.

• A:Answer Great questions, frank! To help with this, I'm providing this link (https://bit.ly/3zrYZ8I) to the user manual for this model. Page 16 begins the section on installation requirements. This is followed by step by step installation instructions, starting on page 21. If you are stacking the washer and dryer, the dryer will need to go on top as the washer becomes too heavy when filled with water. Lastly, this washer is actually compatible with multiple dryer models, if you would like to leave another question with the dryer model you are interested in, I would be happy to check and confirm if it is a ventless model. ^Jecca

• A:Answer As purchased, the dryer vents to the back but there are plates on either side of the unit that allows dryer to vent as required. I changed my dryer to vent to the right by myself. While I accomplished the task myself, however I strongly recommend either a helper to hold vent pipes when reconnecting, or growing a third arm.
