I think the "no windows ink won't work" answer is incorrect.. the floor model of this computer I looked at had a original install of windows 10, what ever version it was when the laptop shipped to best buy.. the sale price sign did not list windows ink as a feature as other newer laptops did. I asked 2 different sales people and they both said it would work with a pen and windows ink. I have a 5 or 6 yr old toshiba that started with windows 7 and I did the free upgrade to win 10. I do not have a touch screen or stylus capable screen. My original windows 10 did not have windows ink. I did however recently install the latest windows update. I now have windows ink on my computer which was never there. I can take my mouse and actually draw on the screen using windows ink. The only thing windows ink needs to work as intended is a touch screen. If it has a touch screen, then the bamboo pen should work as long as its the right kind of pen. I hope this helps
