Glad I read your question. I was wondering, since Best Buy doesnt carry the non-icemaker model whether I could simply buy this model with icemaker and remove it without any hassle. Now I realize it doesnt even come with the replacement cover, so theres no point in buying this model. Guess I'll go with the non-icemaker model over at Home Depot instead.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did not remove entire unit - only removable bucket. Controls allow opt-out of ice maker unit. Removal of entire unit deemed too risky after viewing utube demonstration of same. Hope this helps
