Hit the button on the back and then arrow down for power off. Or if your machine is off first then just hold the middle button down for 5 seconds or so. Blue light stays on but doesn't blink.

Push the middle of the button and you see a cross-shaped arrangement of boxes - the lower one is to turn the monitor off. You click the BOTTOM side of the on-off button to highlight the bottom square, then push the middle of the button again.
