Ice production is not only low, but I am actually researching this fridge because we own one and we are having issues with the icemaker not working. Also, sometimes when it is working, it will dispense some water before the ice like the ice melted inside the icemaker. So frustrating! Samsung wants us to pay to have someone come out to diagnose the problem and best buy won't do anything because we didn't buy the insurance. We did buy the insurance on our dishwasher which had a crack in it and we were told that the policy doesn't cover cracks! No matter what you do, you can't win. I won't be buying from Best Buy again! It's the worst buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It seems that this ice bin is very small. The cubes themselves are small and consequently, don't crush very well. My old 2006 Whirlpool was much better in these regards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is the same. I don't understand why it cant do better than that. Our old refrigerator cranked out the ice - and it was 20 years old!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My husband turned the temp down to -6 and the fridge is making a lot more ice now. Just the cube size is small
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The below is from the "tour" tab on the products main page (Best Buy): "Our refrigerator’s Ice Master produces up to 5 lbs. of ice per day and stores up to 2.9 lbs. of ice. This space-saving design leaves more room in the refrigerator."
