“If someone is getting ice or water through the dispenser and someone else opens the right hand fridge door does the dispenser stop working? Also, how are the shelves for cleaning? Are there unreachable crevices or pretty smooth? Thank you!”

Right. Can't have other door open when using ice feature. The shelves are removable so very convenient for cleaning.

Yes, opening the doors causes water/ice to cut off. Very annoying!

The water / Ice dispenser will not work when the right door is opened. The shelves are very easy to clean either in place, or by removing.
