Mine is absolutely quiet. Only noise was first day when new ice cubes were filling the empty unit. No noise since.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have had this refrigerator for 2 years and it just started making a loud noise, sounds like a grinding. We believe it has something to do with the fan in the upper compartment because when you open the doors the fan stops and so does the noise. I would recommend an LG. Also the door shelves on the side with the ice maker are almost useless. Would not recommend this refrigerator.
