“If you turn the water pitcher feature off, as indicated on page 38 of owner manual, can you still get water straight from the spout without it flowing into the pitcher? I don't like water sitting in a pitcher but still want to use water from fridge.”

I'm happy to help with this, Luz! The Auto Fill Pitcher operates separately from the external dispenser located in the door. You can turn the Auto Fill Pitcher off using the main control panel, and this will not affect the water and ice dispenser. Alternatively, you can also use the child lock feature to prevent the ice and water dispenser from functioning, though this would have no affect on the pitcher. Jecca

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t tried to turn it off! We use both the water on the door and the water pitcher. The water in the pitcher is always fresh because we drink so much water that it’s always refilling. Sorry I don’t the answer to your question. The water in the pitcher is cooler than the flow from the door too.
