“How to remove the lock feature for the water/ ice dispenser? Tried removing the lock/ unlock feature inside the ref but the one on the water dispenser still would not dispense. Thanks.”

You need to hold the water dispense button for 3 seconds. It will chime when unlocked.

Water line is not connected properly or water supply is not on. 2. A third-party water filter was installed. 3. Water filter indicator turns on or blinks. 4. While the door is open, neither the ice maker nor the water dispenser operates. I have shared the user manual link below.
