You need to hold the water dispense button for 3 seconds. It will chime when unlocked.

This is not the experience we want for our customers. We appreciate it that you have tried and took some steps to resolve your concerns. There are a few things that you may want to check out: 1. Water line is not connected properly or water supply is not on. 2. A third-party water filter was installed. 3. Water filter indicator turns on or blinks. 4. While the door is open, neither the ice maker nor the water dispenser operates. I have shared the user manual link below.
