Great question, Jason! The ice maker will continue to produce ice automatically until the ice bucket is full. When the sensor determines the bucket is full, it will temporarily pause ice production until some ice has been removed. There is also an option on the control panel to manually turn the ice maker off. This will prevent ice from being produced until it is manually turned back on. ^Jecca
