A:AnswerYou've asked some great questions, Mellow! While all the water features of this model will use the same waterline connection, you can still choose which features you'd like to use. In fact, according to pages 41-45 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3jiJv1o) you can turn the auto-fill pitcher and ice maker on or off independently of each other. I can also confirm that this model does have door bins that have been rated to hold a full gallon jug. ^Jecca
A:AnswerGreat question, Jason! The ice maker will continue to produce ice automatically until the ice bucket is full. When the sensor determines the bucket is full, it will temporarily pause ice production until some ice has been removed. There is also an option on the control panel to manually turn the ice maker off. This will prevent ice from being produced until it is manually turned back on. ^Jecca
A:AnswerMy cabinets are right at 71 inches and my fridge slid in fine with room to spare. the hinges being at the front of the fridge never touch the upper cabinets. I measure 72 inches including the hinges.
A:AnswerNot on this model - there is one model up that has "drink station" with regular dispenser. Also note that my unit had some chemical taste resembling rubber gaskets used in the water line / I had to infuse the water with lemon changed daily to mask that taste.
A:AnswerI looked up a half sheet and it is 18 x 13.
A half sheet will not fit on the shelf by itself, if you remove a door shelf it might. I doubt it though. Depends how much extra room is needed for the actual size of the pan.
Baskets are 9 x 13, however will not fit cake pan because the actual pan is a bit larger than 9 x 13 due to edges.
Shelves are 15 x 15
Door shelves are 3 x 13
Water pitcher is 6 cups and takes less than a minute to fill.
A:AnswerHi Angie,
Thank you for reaching out, and we hope you are in good health. We appreciate your interest in Samsung home appliances, specifically Samsung water filters.
Most Samsung water and ice dispensers will work without an AquaPure water filter installed. The water filter housings are designed as rotary valves that allow the water to bypass the water filter whenever there is no filter or the filter is not in the locked position.
We recommend that you replace the water filter every six months. The refrigerator's water filter light will let you know when those six months are up and should be reset after changing the filter.
The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) have various standards to identify what is filtered by a water filter. Samsung's water filters are Carbon Filters rated for the NSF/ANSI 42, NSF/ANSI 53, and NSF/ANSI 401 standards. With this being said, I have shared below what is being filtered.
Asbestos, Atrazine, Benzene, 2, 4-D, Carbofuran, Chlorbenzene, Cyst (99.99%), Endrin, Ethylbenzene, Lead, Lindane, Mercury, O-Dichlorobenzene, P-Dichlorobenzene, Tetrachloroethylene, Toxaphene, Turbidity, Atenolol, Bisphenol A, Carbamazepine, DEET, Estrone, Linuron, Nonylphenol, Phenytoin, Trimethoprim.
I have shared as well the Samsung link that gives you most of the information on our Samsung water filters (identify and replace the filter, and reset the water filter light).

A:AnswerThe basket will not fit a 12" pizza box.
Baskets are 9 x 13, however will not fit cake pane because the actual pan is a bit larger than 9 x 13 due to edges.
Shelves are 15 x 15
Door shelves are 3 x 13
Water pitcher is 6 cups and takes less than a minute to fill.
A:AnswerAbsolutely, btj55! In fact, page 25 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/33ST3YZ) begins a section with step by step instructions on how to properly remove and reattach the doors during installation. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi Jason,
Yes, the FlexZone (bottom right compartment) will have its temperature control. The temperature control can be accessed through the main control panel of the refrigerator. I have shared this model's user manual below. Please turn to pages 42 - 43 for instructions on how to use the control panel and the FlexZone modes.
