I had the same thing happen to my Samsung water dispenser after we had been on vacation during the winter... The water in the water tank had frozen, and the light was dimmed. I tried many methods, but this is what finally worked: 1) Take out the left hand vegetable drawer. 2) Take out the wide deli drawer. 3) Locate the water tank (left back wall -- it looks like two oblong capsules enclosed in white or clear plastic, located behind the left drawer. While left door is open, use a hair dryer on high power to heat up the upper and lower tank for a few minutes. Test the water (a few drops started coming out); repeat as needed until the water is flowing regularly. 4) Replace the drawers and shut door. You may want to use power chill button to get the refrigerator back to normal temperature.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My canisters were frozen. However, it appears there was a failure in the small tube connecting the 2 canisters. I think it shorted the defroster and the the canisters froze stopping the whole system. Glad I caught it before there was a big water leak. Ordered a new part on Amazon $140. Video link here on how to replace it. I hope it works. The canisters were also full of black gunk. Hope this helps someone else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQJoXCwV68E
