We purchased the RF25HMEDBSR/AA and cannot remove the water filter. Several of us have tried to turn it both to the left and the right, however, it just won't budge. Same with the ice maker. Wanted to fill our cooler, can't remove the box. null

I use a simple pair of pliers and turn it. It doesn’t matter if you scratch the top of the filter because you throw it away anyway. Simple solution!

Read the owners manual again - both issues are pretty straight forward
