sounds like drain pump is bad. they replaced mine twice but dished still come out dirty. repairs will cost more than what this junk is worth. best to search for a new unit. even if you fix the pump, the backflow valve will eventually fail. samsung makes the damper the same size as the whole. they cant doo anything correct. try a bosch or a maytag

Please try again later.Mine has a similar problem. 70% of the time it runs the complete cycle the first time 20% of the time it requires one restart 10% of the time it requires multiple restarts We had a repairman come and he said one cause of this can be running the hot water right before starting the dishwasher. If very hot water hits the dishwasher immediately it can trigger a sensor. Of course most everyone runs their hot water immediately before starting the dishwasher. You might consider turning your water heater down to see if it helps. Mine flashes "quick" and "heavy", which is an over-level water error according to the manual. But apparently this info was not transmitted to the repairman, so ours is still not fixed.
