Since it has a built in disposer, my first thought is that the drain line is clogged. It is a small diameter plastic tube. If you can get to it. it should be easy to disconnect and look at. If it's clogged, you can probably use the same sort of tool you use to manually unclog drains. If not, then the drain pump is shot and you will need to get it repaired. I do not recommend putting drain cleaner in your dishwasher, as that could to permanent damage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your DMT400. You can check the drain hose for blockage by disconnecting it from the sink drain, depending on the method of installation. It may help to have the installation guide that came with the dishwasher handy for removing then reinstalling the drain hose to your drain pipe. It's also important that the hose is raised to the minimum recommended height as indicated in the attached diagram to prevent backwash. If you are unable to resolve this issue yourself, I would suggest contacting 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG for further assistance. - Ms. Samsung
