“Hi There, we ran the dishwasher for the first time and now there is water in the bottom that drains about every ten minutes. We've read the manual but cant figure out what is is? The delay start? We cleared the drain? Unplugged it? Any suggestions?”

The pump has likely failed. The drain pump on mine failed after the first month, but it took 3 additional months to get a technician sent out at no cost to me. I was told over and over that the noise I was reporting had been documented as "normal", therefor the technician charge wouldn't be covered under warranty. I had the same issue with water collecting in the basin as well. I resorted to emailing the president of the corporation and a report to the BBB before the problem was fixed, at no charge to me. I would encourage you to insist on the machine being repaired, as the manufacturer's expense, and don't take no for an answer. Best of luck!
