I haven't had any issues. I can assume that if the door is left open long enough, there would be temperature loss. Usually I'm just filling up a Keurig water reservoir and it's open for a minute or two. The same amount of time I spend opening and closing getting ingredients or condiments out (since I often forget to grab something.) The temp is constant at 37 and the only time I noticed it went up was when I threw away the first couple gallons of initial water. I appreciate the twin cooling because the fridge and freezer have separate cooling mechanisms and won't affect their respective temperatures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As with any refrigerator opening and closing the door will warm it up at least temporarily. The unit has 2 fans so it cools down faster than many units out there and mine has been maintaining temps very well. The major advantage of having inside water versus through the door is it takes up a lot less space in the refrigerator.
