A:AnswerIt should only be periodically. Could be ice maker, but like all refrigerators these days, they self-defense, monitor temp and self adjust. That is your occasional noise and chirp.
A:AnswerAutomatic, no doubt about it.. There are no fridges in this price range that would have manual defrost.. Maybe you were reading about the ice maker.. But even that is somewhat automated (as far as ice making goes, dispensing is manual: you have to reach into the freezer and scoop the ice cubes out yourself..)
A:AnswerThe team that came to install ours (Best Buy team) took the handles off the doors of the fridge (very easily done, next time if you move it yourself, you can do it in less than 5 min), and then it fits through most any doorway. If supertight, the doors themselves can be taken off hinges, a abit more time, but totally doable
