It comes with the water filtration system, but you can just hit "ice off", and don't make any ice, and therefore not use the water filtration system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is not a filter nor a place for the filter inside of the fridge. You can feed the filtered water from your RO system directly into the water-in tubing located on the back of the fridge. Easy peasy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you go to the main SamSung website, you will see the replacement filters for your system and just now, (November 2015) they are all on sale. Filter's for any product - car, ac unit, water - all need to be replaced in a timely fashion and this refrigerator is no different. Using the filter system stops bacteria from growing in the lines of your system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no built-in water filter for the ice maker so you don't have to go through the trouble of unhooking any filter. Does not have one at all. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, my fridge has a filter in it. It came with the fridge. No I did not see any way to bypass it "out of the box" and I would be willing to bet if you modify the fridge it would void the warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no built in filter. If desired, a filter would be installed at the back of the unit in the supply line. You can use it without a filter.
