The RS265TDRS's Energy Saver button turns off the low-wattage heater that helps to evaporate condensation between the doors; it is not a "vacation mode" setting and does not effect the temperature setting or energy use by the cooling system. Since condensation is more likely to occur in hot and humid climates or seasons, Samsung has given customers the option of turning this heater off to save energy during dryer seasons, like the winter months, or for those who live in dry climates. When Energy Saver is on, the heater is off. I hope this helps to clarify this feature. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
