“I do not see in the warranty information about the ice makers. I had heard all Samsung ice makers have a 2 year warranty. Can you confirm or deny this please?”

Great question, mark! While the ice maker is an included part in the overall manufacturer's warranty (https://bit.ly/3wbZaDo), it does not have a separate longer warranty like the sealed system does. It says One (1) year Parts and Labor on Refrigerator...Five (5) years Parts and Labor on sealed Refrigeration system only...Ten (10) years Parts and Five (5) years Labor on Digital Inverter Compressor. Doesn't really explain it completely. I would call the Samsung Customer Care Center and ask. (1-800-726-7864).
