Please try again later.If by 90 degrees you mean to where the outside of the door is nearly flush with the side of the refrigerator, you need approximately 3.5" - 4" total. At the back of the door (nearest the hinge) it extends perpendicular to the fridge side about an inch out. At the handle, which is curved, it extends another 2.5" perpendicular from the door, which is also curved, at the handle apex,
