Hi there, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I appreciate your taking the time to raise this inquiry regarding the clearance needed for the fridge to open 90 degrees. Allow 3.75" of clearance when installing along a wall. This will allow the door to open 90 degrees without the handle contacting the wall. Please the link below for more details.
