There are non-OEM bypass units that go in place of the filter. That was implied in my question. Hence "Will using a BYPASS (something that exists)" void the warranty? Or, I can take the filter out, break it down into its constituent parts, put it back together without the filter media in it and go on my merry way. The question remains, WILL that void the ENTIRE refrigerator's warranty? I know it'll void the filter warranty, though it's a consumable and likely does not have one. So you didn't answer the question at all, you ignored the wording of it and pasted what we ALL already have access to, and already know.
