Please try again later.The official answer from Best Buy is as follows: "Typically, open-box items are goods returned by customers, inspected by the retailer, found to be in working order, and re-sold at a discount, rather than returned to the manufacturer The open-box products sold at Best Buy come with a complete manufacturer warranty as a new one." This has been my experience from years of buying open box items from Best Buy - from a Dyson vacuum years ago (that we still use), to an LG microwave, to (most recently) a Samsung fridge. We saved $400 on the fridge because it was open box and had some dents. Still came with Samsung's full warranty and, outside of the dents, looks brand-new!!!!
