One thing to note about this warranty is that it is a service based warranty. This means we usually try to repair the product if it is malfunctioning. Since this model is designed for use in the US, it can only be serviced in the US. This means that if you did happen to need service, you would need to bring the refrigerator to the US to be repaired.
