QuestionWe just moved into an older home and the kitchen doorway measures 29". Will this model fit through this without the doors? I see it measures 28 7/8" without the doors. That's pretty close, but hope it'll work!

- Answer It will fit but it will be very close,we had the same issue but the people that made the delivery were every good and made it without a scratch.

- Answer No, it only has the ice maker attached to door dispenser. But you can slide the ice maker out & dump the ice into another container if you need to.

- Answer Hi Richard, We appreciate your question about dispensing measured amounts of water on the water dispenser of this Samsung refrigerator model. The water dispenser can fill a 5 3/4 oz. (170 cc) cup in about 10 seconds under normal conditions. The dispenser does not have 8/16/22 oz. measured amounts. Leo

QuestionThis model has dual ice makers , am i able to turn OFF the freezer ice maker but keep the external ice maker on top running and functioning ? I wouldn't use the freezer ice maker at all, are the two ice makers able to work separately?

- Answer Great question, OngFan! This model (RF27T5201SR/AA) has only one ice maker that can be manually turned on or off using the control panel. However, the similar model RF27T5241SR/AA does have the dual ice maker feature. Currently all Samsung models with two ice makers have the option to turn each ice maker on or off independently of the other ice maker. ^Jecca

QuestionI want to plumb my ro system to this fridge and do not need a refrigerator filter. Back-pressure from the filter will reduce the efficiency of the ro system. Can I use this fridge WITHOUT the water filter installed?

- Answer Absolutely, RayBob! In fact, we recommend removing the internal water filter if your home has a home water filtration system. But not to worry, there's nothing complicated here, just remove the filter from the refrigerator, and that's it! The filter housing will automatically seal shut to prevent leaks. ^Jecca

QuestionIs the ice dispenser connected to the freezer as well? Or do you have to manually pour out the ice from the top and fill the bin?

- Answer It is connected you do not need to manually remove ice however if you wanted to open the fridge and take ice out you are able to do just that.

QuestionIf the ice is made and stored in the refrigerator section, how does it not melt and refreeze if not used immediately? I would think this would cause the ice to jam in the holding compartment.

- Answer I am not sure why it does not melt and refreeze, but it doesn’t happen. So far, I haven’t had any issues with it and I am satisfied with this fridge.

- Answer I measured my Samsung Fridge and it is at 70" tall when measured at the tallest point which is at the door hinge. The main fridge body behind the hinge is about 69". If your space does not require the fridge to fit flush and is at lest 24" deep you could get buy with this one. 24" is because you need 22" to pass the 69" low point + 2" for plug and ventilation space behind the fridge, The 70 inch height where the hinge to front door is 9.5" long so your fridge will stick out from that point. Hope this helps.

- Answer Ours came fully complete - ice maker included, as well as water filter. The only thing we needed separately was the hose connection between our house water line and the refrigerator.

QuestionThe width of my space is 36" with a counter depth of 26". This fridge is 35 & 3/4" wide, leaving me with 1/4" extra. Will this fit? The website says it won't fit and doesn't say why, so I am confused.

- Answer Hi Tony, Yes, this Samsung refrigerator model will fit your space that is 36 inches wide since this Samsung refrigerator model has a width of 35 3/4 inches. If you have a wall on the side of the refrigerator, you will need an extra space of 3 5/8 inches to open the door 90 degrees on that side. In addition, the total depth of this refrigerator model with its handle is 35 3/8 inches, with a counter depth of 26 inches this model will "stick out" about 10 inches. QuestionDoes this refrigerator have a pure air filter or just a water filter that needs to be changed? I can’t find anything in the manual about a pure air filter. Only about changing the water filter.
