• The pedestals are separate, you need one pedestal for each washer and dryer.

• Thanks for the question. Samsung washers and dryers should not be stacked on top of a pedestal. The pedestals are not designed to hold both units simultaneously. In addition, this would place the dryer controls out of reach for many people. If you'd like to stack the units, the dryer should be stacked on top of the washer (with the washer on the floor) and secured using the SK-5A stacking kit accessory. - Ms. Samsung
