how do you change the water filter? null

There is a circle knob between the two crisp drawers. it has lock and unlock written on it. Just unlock it and pull it out then put in new one turn and lock. So easy. Hope this helps

Instructions for changing the water filter can be found on page 77 of the user manual or by following the instructions on your RF4289's touch screen display. Simply turn the filter cartridge (located between the crisper drawers in the fridge) counter clockwise to unlock and remove it, then install a new cartridge by inserting and turning it clockwise until it locks in place. Be sure to bleed the air from the lines by dispensing about 5-6 gallons of water; this will help to insure the best performance from the icemaker and water dispenser. If you find it difficult to remove the old filter or install the new one, it may help to turn the water valve to the refrigerator to the off position to alleviate pressure in the line. Don't forget to turn the valve back on once the new filter is installed. - Ms. Samsung
