• 720P is twice the detail of a standard definition tv and 1080P is 5 times the detsil of a standard definition tv. Your eyes might not be able to tell the difference. The website digitaltrends.com may help you decide.

• 1080p has more pixels per square inch making for sharper image. Ive found tvs under 32 inches come in 720p because in that size it is adequate to give sharp picture.
