Can I hook-up a dvd player to this tv? null

It depends on the available output jacks on the DVD player. The television has 2 HDMI ports, usually one is used for cable (TV) input; does the DVD player have HDMI output? Also the TV has Composite Video input ( the 3 RCA type jacks) which could be used. The Samsung remote that comes with the TV allows you to select from a number of input sources.

I have not hooked up a DVD but I have hooked up a Roku for streaming videos Netflix and Amazon movies. I have had no problems with the hookup.
