• Well I don't have ether of those to try but a quart measuring pitcher fits as does a Contigo stainless coffee mug with the lid on at a full 9 1/8". I hope that helps.

• The spigot is 9 and 3/4 in above the glass platform. A five and a half inch diameter glass would fit in that area. But the way it is designed you could fill a bucket by angling the container
