Q: QuestionI have Samsung fridge model RF28T5001SR/AA. Are the temperatures shown in the panel actual fridge and freezer temps?

• A:Answer Great question, alm2022! When you change the temperature in either compartment, the display will show the new temperature for a few seconds, and then switch to the actual current temperature in that compartment until it reaches the new set temperature. ^Jecca

Typically most users use the pantry drawer for things like deli meats and cheeses. Pages 38 and 39 have instructions on how to set the temperature on this model. We generally recommend allowing 24 hours for the refrigerator to fully cool. Q: QuestionIt appears the shelves are split in the middle, does this mean you can move only one half of the shelve up and down? And not have to move the entire shelve? That’s what I’m looking for.

Q: QuestionRead that when refrigerator is plugged in the cord should face down. I live in an older rental unit. The three prong outlet is the old style so the cord faces up. Also do no understand the wheel issue, flat screwdriver to lower the wheels…?

• A:Answer As far as the cord facing down, I would just imagine that since it is a flat cord, if you turn it upside down it will bend at the top and the rest of the cord will turn down. Might jist be so that the cord doesn’t fray. I would try to use some tape and place it strategically so that the “bend” is gradual.

Q: QuestionI have this Model:RF28T5001SR/AA and I can't tell if I can separate the shelves. I would like to have one shelf split into two heights. It looks like I should be able to, but it also looks like the two shelves are connected via some type of screw. Help!
