“Is the water filter good enough to be able to drink off it. We are in Ladera ranch California where water quality is good but we buy bottled water for drinking. I just bought this fridge and would like to know how good the water filter is.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The filter is excellent. We have a lot of sediment in our water and dishes come out of the dishwasher grey even. The filter on the fridge cleans it up great. No more bottled water here.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, water quality is great. I live in an area with extremely clean water. The flavor is slightly better after carbon filtration in the fridge. HOWEVER, I have found this fridge to not be reliable. The condenser failed on my unit. The warranty is only 12 months! So, plan for the likelihood that you may need to replace the fridge in 14 months like me. Its disposable! Techs recommended I dispose of it. .
