What is the flex zone part used for? null

I use it for meats and cheeses. It's much easier to use there the earlier friges with the wide tray across. the bottom because you do not have to open the double doors to get those items.

You can use like a small fridge that you can adjust the temp on. We use it to store bottle waters, soda, Gatorade etc.
