So Far So Good.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were leery when we read several negative reviews, But then we realized that virtually EVERY fridge out there has lots of negative reviews, so we decided to roll the dice with this unit which is beautiful and has all the features we were looking for. We’ve had it a month. It initially cooled down faster than I thought and was making ample ice in about 24 hours. The flex drawer’s configuration is easy to adjust and is perfect for deli meat and bottled beer. I haven’t measured with a thermometer, but I can tell that the right door where we keep milk is not as cold as the main body of the fridge so I keep the temperature a degree colder (36) than the recommendation. Plenty of space in the freezer with an extra, shallower storage above the deep one so you don’t have to dig around as much. Ice maker works great, but crushed ice (which we virtually never use) comes out uneven and tends to leave a bit of residual ice on the chute which will melt and drip into the reservoir. Not a huge issue unless you use lots of crushed ice. You can control the temperature with your phone which is neat, I guess, but useless to most people. If your kids leave the door open, you’ll get a message on your phone so you can call home to give them a verbal tug on the ears. Aesthetically, the fridge is beautiful. Clean lines and relatively unobtrusive branding. Overall we’re happy so far.

Good value buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this refrigerator is meeting all my expectations. Love the design and the price. I transitioned from a 2-door French door model to this 2-door 2 drawer configuration. Love it so far, especially the energy saving feature---he motor shuts down when I open the door and restarts when I close the door. Note: If you have a tight fit like mine, I have 39" clearance in width for this 36" wide refrig. The wall is not exactly straight and the baseboard sticks out as you can see in the photo. Also note if the countertop goes past the side of the cabinet. I can open the French door 90 degrees with the gap, but not past that point or it would hit the wall. Also, note that the side of the refrigerator is not stainless steel. I don't mind this so much since I don't entertain guests and it is easy to clean, which is more important to me.

Beautiful disaster
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the look of this refrigerator. It is truly a beautiful refrigerator. The only thing I wish was better is the ice maker. It comes out crushed when it's on the cubed setting. It also makes a mess everywhere.

Nice Fridge
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my out of box refrigerator and I love it so much. I will have to call for service since it makes a loud noise but the refrigerator is amazing. It got delivered, the guys that delivered it were not super professional. They didn’t take it off floor model mode and I almost lost all my food before we finally figured out what was going on. All in all I love it and it’s so spacious and pretty.

It's good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great for now and looks pretty. I like the temperature adjustable flex drawer in the middle. The ice isn't the best type of ice and it is a tiny bit noisier than my old one. It would be better if I could store more tall items upright without losing a shelf. Some small shelves are not very usable. Installers got the job done fast.

Perfect outside of one issue
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It looks great and has plenty of space. My one complaint is the water that comes out the of the water dispenser isn’t very cold, which forces you to use ice. Since I don’t like using ice much, I find this annoying. Other than that, an excellent refrigerator.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fridge is amazing. This fridge has so much space to put all the food you want. There are all these compartments where you can put just about everything. This fridge chills your food to the best temperature. The ice machine is very good and functional. The handles and doors are nice and smooth. This fridge gets the job done with ease. This fridge fits perfectly in the space I want to put it in. Q: QuestionHave they redesigned the ice maker on this new model from the last few years which caused so many consumers heartache?
Asked by Dealsinak.
- A:Answer Yes....the original only lasted 3 mos, redesigned icemaker lasted just under a year for me. Frustrating!

Q: QuestionIs there supposed to be a small shelf or bin attached to the door of the freezer? It looks like there is a place for one, but my fridge doesn't have one. ( I'm not talking about the upper sliding drawer inside the freezer; I have that.)
Asked by BenC.
- A:Answer Yes according to the manual and the door design, there should be a long and narrow freezer door bin. Our older (2008 Samsung french door) refrigerator had one and the manual identifies it too. I went back to the store and none of their floor models came with the door bin. The sales staff had no idea, of course. Now I'm looking for information on the freezer door bin and WHY it doesn't seem to be included. I'm including picture of the location, door support points and the manual illustration with bold print of the component name, "door bin". Anyone know why it's not included?

Q: QuestionIs the 2019 refrigerator model an improvement? I just purchased it & some reviews are disheartening. My current Samsung 3-door went problem-free for over 10 years & just recently had an ice problem. Could it be a gamble because of poor quality control??
Asked by Bauer.
- A:Answer No, the new ones are not an improvement. We have an older one that's been running just fine for a few years now, but the one we bought three quit working overnight and all the food has to be thrown away. I even called Samsung and they said that it's normal for their new refrigerators to fail that way. Just throw everything away, reboot it, and fill it back up again. They say it just happens at random. It could happen again tonight, or it could run for a few months. They say it's normal.

Q: QuestionOur four door is a little over a year old and the ice maker freezes up have to defrost to get it working how to stop the problem/
Asked by Ed.
- A:Answer Ours is brand new not even a month old and we've noticed the same thing. Can't figure out what is going on? Possibly a manufacturers defect?

Q: QuestionCan you lock or turn off the ice and water feature?
Asked by Rfullhouse.
- A:Answer Great question, Rfullhouse! This model actually has 2 different options depending on exactly what you want. There is an Ice Maker button that will turn the ice maker on/off. There is also a Dispenser Lock feature that will prevent the dispenser from dispensing any water or ice until it is unlocked. ^Jecca

Q: QuestionHas anyone else been delivered a damaged appliance? I had to sent back this Samsung today because it came off the truck with at least two dents on the front. I have not had success with getting any help from Customer Service for over two hours.
Asked by PS.
- A:Answer I don't think so. Cause mine has the same issue. As soon as it was delivered photos were taken by the delivery guy and sent to customer service and BB are actually the ones who would call you and offer options for the damaged product. They have replaced mine few days after. BB always has an excellent customer service.

Q: QuestionDo I have to replace the water filter? Is there a place to replace the water filter?
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer Hello Mike! I am including a helpful link to the user manual (https://bit.ly/2v6txlq) on page 76 to support your concerns on the water filter. We thank you for being a part of Samsung! ^Lena

Q: QuestionMine did not come with the 4 snap rings, as indicated in the manual. How do I get those so I can adjust one of the doors?
Asked by Mel.
- A:Answer Mine were in the sealed package with the owner's manual; the installers pulled them out and used one (of the 4 supplied) to adjust one door to level it. Should you still need snap rings, you can probably get the correct size at a hardware store, or contact either the store who sold you the refrigerator, or Samsung (as part of the warranty). Good luck!
