• Yes, there is a water filter, which is designed for end users to replace. Open both refrigerator doors, and the filter is at the bottom of that compartment, between the two crisper drawers. As my fridge is so new, I haven't had to replace it yet (installers inserted initial filter), but it looks to be a very quick and easy filter swap.
