You do not need two water lines. We opted for the $135 option to get the new fridge six weeks sooner. The installers did put in all new components from our sink to the fridge and tested the line. If you have an existing water line in good condition from the fridge you are replacing, you do not have to have the more expensive option.

The $30 option is for when you have a line ran to the location of the refrigerator and the delivery tech just disconnects and reconnects The $135 option is for when there needs to be a new line installed since there isn't one existing
