- Answer Great question, Dlay! This model (and most Samsung models with a dispenser) produces ice cubes in a half moon shape. However, the dispenser has the option to dispense these cubes whole, or to crush the ice as it is being dispensed. ^Jecca

- Answer Excellent question, Raymond! Yes, the ice maker uses filtered water to make the ice. The water filter installs close to the beginning of the refrigerators internal water line, before the dispenser and the ice maker. This means both the dispenser and the ice maker use the same filtered water. ^Jecca

- Answer There is only one water connection needed. The $30 option is for when you have a line ran to the location of the refrigerator and the delivery tech just disconnects and reconnects The $135 option is for when there needs to be a new line installed since there isn't one existing
