Q: QuestionI assume I can turn the ice maker completely off? I don't plan on hooking this up to a water line. Is that ok? I just want to use the ice space as freezer space.

• A:Answer We never hooked up our ice maker either since we have hard water. The ice maker is still attached in the freezer we just use the bin underneath to store things. We have not had any problems with this.

Q: QuestionIs there a way to move this refrigerator without emptying the contents? We recently bought one, and once the leveling legs are down, it cannot be moved without a very complicated process. Most refrigerators will roll. This one DOES NOT!!!

• A:Answer I'm so sorry for the confusion, Pw! Yes, this model does have an automatic ice maker in the freezer compartment. However, it does not have an external dispenser, and the ice would need to be manually removed from the bucket. ^Jecca

• A:Answer This Samsung 28.2 CU. FT. FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR has the freezer in a drawer at the bottom of the unit (below the refrigerator French doors). The ice maker is in the freezer drawer. There is no ice dispenser. Ice cubes are ejected into a receiving bin once they are frozen. You can use a large serving spoon to remove ice cubes as needed or you can find an ice cube scoop for larger amounts in most places that sell kitchen utensils. When ordering, you can specify whether or not you already have a water line in the area where you plan to locate the new refrigerator. The installation will go more smoothly if you already have a water line in place. I would caution against not connecting the ice maker since you will be left with having to make ice cubes the old fashioned way with tap water & plastic ice cube trays. This could get messy if you're not careful. Best Buy has a good selection of refrigerators available. If you really don't want an ice maker, try looking for a unit that doesn't have one. It will probably be less expensive with a smaller capacity. It's a good idea to visit Best Buy's website regularly to check for sales, special deals like their "Deal of the Day", etc. If you create an account there are additional benefits like a rewards program that allows you improve your member status & issue reward certificates in $5.00 increments.

• A:Answer If I remember correctly it took about 2 to 3 hours for the fridge to get to the temperature. The cord comes out of the back of the unit. How long the cord is, I don't know the delivery guys swapped out the fridges pretty quick. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionThe right side door will only open to 90° because of a short wall. Maybe a hair more because of a one inch space ( handle comes out past short wall so not an issue). Will i have any issues with pulling out or removing interior drawers?

• A:Answer I just tried mine with the left door only open 90°. I thought the long drawer would be a problem, but it came out OK because it was below the door shelves. The left vegetable drawer ran into the door shelves, but it was out far enough for you get things in and out. I do not believe you would be able to take it out to clean without removing the left door. That might be an option if you really love this refrigerator.
