We're so sorry for the confusion, Bobby2hats! I believe the cause is due to some models having an internal water dispenser and others having an auto-fill pitcher. The internal water dispenser works the same as a regular dispenser. The auto-fill pitcher however is a pitcher that, when placed in it's spot in the refrigerator, will automatically refill with water. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes empties freely. There is another model that comes with a very smaller water pitcher that fills when you close the door. It is my understanding the door has to be closed to fill the pitcher and it takes a couple of minutes. This model has a dispenser, you push your cup up against it and the water comes out. Big enough to fit a Yeti or hydro flask, I even fill my coffee pot with the filtered water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no it dispenses freely you don't have to fill it works well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, The water dispenser is fully functional. The water filter has to be changed, and it sits between the dispenser bins. But there is not a need to "fill" a dispenser.
