“Can I convert the freezer into a refrigerator the whole freezer or half of the freezer”

Only the lower right can be set to one of the following. Soft freeze, freezer, meat/fish, fruit/veggies, and beverage. Haven't found anything on what soft freeze should be used for but the others are obvious.
