Since the pitcher is inside the refrigerator it’s dispensed cold

One the water in the reservoir has cooled, the refrigerator will dispense cold water. If the water from the dispenser is not cold, the cold water in the refrigerator's reservoir has been used up. It also important to note that during the summer months, water enters the fridge at a higher temperature. This increases the time it takes to cool down. ^Jecca
