Since the pitcher is inside the refrigerator it’s dispensed cold

Thanks so much for asking, raissa! This refrigerator has an internal reservoir that holds about a quart of water, or approximately 2 - 4 glasses. One the water in the reservoir has cooled, the refrigerator will dispense cold water. If the water from the dispenser is not cold, the cold water in the refrigerator's reservoir has been used up. It also important to note that during the summer months, water enters the fridge at a higher temperature. This increases the time it takes to cool down. ^Jecca

No the fridge only automatically dispenses water into a builtin pitcher when the fridge is closed. So it is always cold.
