Q: QuestionHello, we have had our refrigerator for 2 days now almost and the ice cube trays are still not full yet. I read that it is supposed to fill ten pounds of ice a day. I see it only holds 2 #’s though so why his it taking so long foe my ice trays to fill up?

Q: QuestionThe manual says before replacing the filter make sure the water supply line is shut off? How do you do that if the fridge is inserted into a cabinet designed space for the fridge and not easily pulled out to shut off the water valve and change the filter?

• A:Answer Thanks so much for asking, Dave! We do recommend shutting of the water supply as this releases some of the pressure and makes removing the old filter easier. But not to worry if you can't move your refrigerator, it is safe to remove the water filter with the water supply still on. ^Jecca

• A:Answer Absolutely, Rob! You can use a home water filtration system with this refrigerator. However, you'll need to remove the internal water filter from the refrigerator. This is because using both the filter and filtration system can cause the water pressure to be too low to properly function. • A:Answer Excellent question Celestial7! The ice maker is capable of making up to 10 pounds of ice a day. However, it is only capable of holding about 2 pounds of ice at a time. This means that once the ice bucket is full, the ice maker will pause production until some ice is removed. ^Jecca
