the Q60R does NOT have adaptive sound and I believe it doesn't support Dolby ATMOS or DTS:X. It does have DTS virtual X though.

Please try again later.the latter has Atmos capability. the former does not. it also does a good job of projecting sound in the absence of rear speakers so you get awesome bang for your buck. if you have the extra mojo, 3.1.2 would be better especially if you are looking to "future proof" your hardware as atmos content is only expected to increase in the coming years.
