• No, it does not come with an HDMI. I have not tried connecting it with HDMI. It comes with another cable that connects to Samsung tv. I think it's called direct sound link . Not 100% sure.

• HDMI is HDMI for audio and video. Where you start getting into money is the ones that will pass internet connections via HDMI, which is the new standard but most connected devices aren't ready to support it.
